Parents are an essential component of the Falcon Bands. Whether you can donate just a small amount of time, or take on a larger role, your help is vital to the success of the band experience for students. You do not need to be a band booster to volunteer, although we encourage to join the organization as well. - Advertising (Solicit ads for Concert Programs.)
- Baking (Become a certified Cottage Baker to provide treats for Band events)
- Band Portraits (Help plan and run Band Picture Day)
- Blues in the Night (Jazz Band / Combos dinner and concert)
- Booster Attire & Accessories (Help with orders and distribution)
- Butter Braid (Help with pastry orders and distribution)
- Chaperone Band Events (Sign up for a daytime event in order to qualify for an overnight)
- Concert Ticket Sales (Help distribute tickets at school concerts)
- Eight Grade Recruitment (Help Organize / serve refreshments at 8th grade events)
- End-of-Year Banquet (Help plan and set up banquet)
- Football Game Setup (Rope off band section and set up water coolers at home games.)
- Fundraising Committee (Brainstorm and explore new fundraising ideas)
- Grocery Cards (Help with Promotion and gift card sales)
- Hospitality (Serve lunch or dinner to hungry students on Saturday rehearsal / competition days)
- Jim Click Raffle Fundraiser (Coordinate sales of raffle tickets, turn tickets into the raffle office)
- Medical Professional (Provide assistance at long rehearsals and on trips, as needed)
- Miscellaneous Help (Variety of tasks)
- Notary Service (If you are a Notary Public – provide service to families when completing Band paperwork)
- Pit Crew (Set up props / podiums during show at games and competitions)
- Plumes (Distribute plumes to students at football games)
- Publicity (Submit articles and / or pictures to local media)
- Restaurant Dineouts (Plan and promote dine outs at local restaurants)
- Senior Class Recognition (Help celebrate seniors — underclassmen parents welcome)
- Tax Credit Campaign (Help promote tax credit opportunities and thank donors)
- Uniform Accessories (Sell gloves, socks, etc. before games and competitions)
- Uniform Distribution (Before & after games, competitions & trips)
- Uniform Sewing (Alter / mend uniforms)
- Video for End-of-Year Banquet (Gather photos and video)
- Yearbook Coordination (Gather group and candid photos to submit for Band pages)
